Lee County Speedway announced today that due to the low car count in the Hobby Stock class unless numbers increase they will be discontinued for the remainder of the season. Track Manager Brian Gaylord said “We would like to see the class continue but we must have at least 6 cars per night to justify racing them. Not only is cost a factor but 3 or 4 cars is not much of a show for our fans”. Gaylord stated that he has received calls from several racers stating their cars are not ready yet but he has set a 3 week deadline for the class.
