The races scheduled for tonight have been canceled. Heavy rains over night and light sprinkles still happening at noon, have forced the Lee County Speedway promoters to have to cancel tonight’s racing action. We have water standing on the front stretch and in the pits, with no sun and temperatures in the mid 70’s there is no chance to get things dried up in time to race tonight.

We hope to see everyone next Friday, August 6th for the final Iowa Corn Growers Association and Hinkle Auto Sales “Drive For 5” qualifying event.
