The 21st Annual Shiverfest at the Pepsi Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, Iowa is this Saturday. We have always ended our season with this event for many, many years. This event was started with the kids in mind. But last year we decided to try something different, and felt like we lost some support because of it. So this year we are going back to tradition.

For those of you who are asking for the complete payouts, they are our weekly payouts that can be found on our website. However we have a sponsor who is adding $10 to the final 10 spots of the Late Model feature. And another sponsor who is adding $10 to the final 5 spots of the Stock Car feature. There are NO fees of any kind to pay, and the driver’s pit pass is only $20.

We will be having hay rack ride thru the pits from 3 PM – 4 PM. Followed by trick-or-treating, sponsored by the driver’s. There are also box car races at intermission. Grandstand admission is only $10, seniors (60+) $9, students (11-17) $5, and kids 10 & under FREE! Bring the kids and have some fun, then sit back and enjoy a GREAT night of racing!!

For those who are interested, we are having an open practice on Friday, October 25th. Pits will open at 5:30 PM, with practice starting around 7:30 PM. Camping, with electric hook-ups, are available for $25, which can be paid at the pit shack.
